Peru is one of the richest countries in the world in terms of tourist resources. Peru has three distinct geographical regions- mountain highlands, coastal region and Amazon jungles. Other useful items are anti-bacterial soap, toilettes, anti-itch cream, headlamp with extra batteries, Swiss army style knife, sunglasses, water bottle, first aid kit including Pepto-Bismol for mild diarrhea, throat lozenges, motion sickness medication, Aspirin, Antibiotics for travelers diarrhea, Antacid tablets, Band-Aids and sunburn salve such as aloe Vera gel.
