Peru has three distinct geographical regions- mountain highlands that include Cusco and Lake Titicaca, the coastal region includes Lima, Nasca, and Arequipa, and the Amazon jungle. Peru’s weather is completely unpredictable. It is not surprising if you experience all four seasons in a single day. Normally, Peru has two seasons, wet and dry but due to its geographical diversity, local weather conditions changes frequently. In the highlands, the dry season is from April to October and wet season is from November to mid-April. During dry season days are hot and at night temperatures drops quickly. From January to March the sky is clear and the air tends to be hot and sticky. In the Coast, winter season is from June to September and summers runs from the months of December to April.
